Privacy
The short version
No ads, no cookies for tracking, no personal data sold. We count page views with a cookie-free tool that stores no personal data. We only keep what we need to run your account, and you can have it deleted any time.
Who runs the site
Burak Özdemir, contactable at support [at] conjugationchart [dot] com for any privacy question, data-access request, or deletion request.
What we keep and why
- Email + password hash. Kept until you delete your account. Needed to log you in. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Google sign-in (optional). If you use "Continue with Google", we ask Google for two things only: your email address and your Google account ID. We use them to create your account and log you back in. We do not ask for your name or your profile picture, and we never receive your Google password. Kept until you delete your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Study progress: saved verbs, SRS cards, quiz history, daily-challenge results. Kept until you delete your account. Needed to show you your own progress. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Cheat-sheet email: if you download a cheat sheet without an account, we keep the address you enter. The PDF is served to you straight away and is never emailed. We use the address only to tell you when new sheets are added. Email us to have it deleted. Legal basis: consent.
- Preferences: palette (light/dark) and layout. Stored locally; mirrored on the server when you're logged in. Legal basis: performance of a contract / strictly necessary.
- Server logs: request, IP, user-agent. Held for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse detection, then rotated out. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running the site securely.
- Transactional email: we email you for verification and password resets. Never for marketing. Legal basis: contract + legitimate interest in account security.
Cookies
Strictly-necessary first-party cookies only: a session cookie, a CSRF token, and your preferences. Because none of these are tracking cookies, no cookie banner is required.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data. It records the page URL, the referring page, the country, and the browser and device type. Your IP address and user agent are hashed with a salt that changes every 24 hours, so a visitor can be counted once per day but cannot be recognized across days, devices, or other sites. The raw IP address is never stored. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing which pages are used.
Who else sees your data
- Hosting: our own infrastructure; your data doesn't leave our servers in normal operation.
- Email delivery: a transactional email provider handles verification and reset messages. Only your email address is shared, and only when we send you a message.
- Fonts: Inter is loaded from Bunny Fonts, a privacy-respecting CDN that does not track visitors or set cookies.
- Analytics: Ahrefs receives the cookie-free page-view data described above. It gets no account data and no personal data.
International transfers
Where a provider above sits outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the CCPA you can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or to object to processing. Email support [at] conjugationchart [dot] com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live. We are established in Spain, so ours is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Automated decision-making
None. The spaced-repetition scheduler is a deterministic algorithm that picks what to show you next; it doesn't produce decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Account deletion
Delete your account any time from Settings → Account. All personal data and study progress are removed immediately; encrypted backups age out within 30 days.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them. Email us if you believe a child has registered and we'll remove the account.
Changes
Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and, for account holders, by email. Last updated 2026-08-16.
